A Great Set

This printing is beautiful, and of a very high quality. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a complete set of the 10 principle Upanishads.

Wow

I have purchased all four volumes but have completed reading just the first. Nikhilananda has performed a truly great service to this Western student of Vedanta. His introductory discussion on the nature of Brahman is as deep as it wide, assisting one to understand the nature of the Real through the eyes of the Upanishads. The inclusion of Shankaras commentary is helpful but overwhelming at first. If you purchase this set, please also consider Nikhilanandas translation of the Bhagavad Gita which also includes Shankaras commentaries as well as a fine introduction to the Gita and an overview of the Mahabarata.
