Drg Drsya Viveka: An Inquiry into the Nature of the Seer and the Seen
Excellent book for understanding the basic approach to meditation in Advaita Vedanta
Drg Drsya Viveka
This is an excellent book for understanding the basic approach to meditation in Advaita Vedanta. The text is well translated and the original devanagari text is included for those who are able to read it. Swami's explanatory notes are very illuminating. Especially when read in conjunction with viewing Swami Priyananda's six lectures on the subject (available on YouTube), this small text can open up a whole new level of understanding.
Drg Drsya Viveka
Wonderful small text dealing with how to discern the seer ( our real nature, the ultimate consciousness ) from the seen ( the objective universe, including our body and mind ). Lucid commentarries by Swami Niklhilananda.
Seer and the Seen
The little book has amazing wealth. I must say I understand what it is saying only because of the amazing teacher Swami Sarvapriyananada Ji who explained each and every word of it in again the most amazing interesting joyful words and ways.
I would recommend the book but to get the necter out of it walk with Swami ji most intently through the book in his series given Introduction to Vedanta based on this book. It can change your life.
