This is the biography of an amazing woman. Almost unknown until now, Sara Bull was a major player in the early days of our movement. It was Sara Bull who helped Swami Vivekananda and his fellow brother monks when they lectured in the US.
She arranged for Vivekananda to speak at Harvard, introduced him to many major college professors, and helped Vivekananda handle the money. She also financed out of her own pocket many different projects and speakers, including the early American swamis.
There are many stories to tell that give a human side not only of our history, but of what it was like to know Swami Vivekananda and Swami Saradananda, later the author of Sri Ramakrishna: The Great Master. Many photos.
