The essay was written on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Birth by Swami Tathagatananda, the head of the Vedanta Society of New York.
Value of Brahmacharya
This book is valuable in explaining what Brahmacharya means and how to practice it. It has provided me with many insights and practical techniques to actualize this.
Insightful, informative and skillfully written
A must for any aspiring Brahmachari, sincere spiritual seeker or reasonably advanced student of Vedanta.
In my humble opinion, this book is not an easy read for a casual or novice reader due to the nature and sensitivity of the subject at hand (which with all respect to the Swami, has been dealt with very skillfully in the book).

Vivek.
The principle of power conservation
There need to be more books like these published not only for spiritual seekers but also for the public in general. The movies and other media are stripping the people out of their essential human power and making them mere puppets of their senses. Brahmacharya meaning practice of sexual continence and the resulting celibacy is the key to bringing back the equilibrium into the society. More books like these stressing the importance of maintaining celibacy and the medical explanations backing this concept need to be out there!
