Vedic Mathematics for Schools

Written by the head of mathematics at St. James Independent School in London for students from 8th grade through 11th to learn both basic mathematics and speed math. The Vedic approach is a different journey that math lovers will enjoy.

The system comes from ancient Vedic sources by the late Bharati Krishna Tirthaji. Although aimed at children from ages 8-11, the westerner will be amazed at the approach. The student learns to do major math problems either mentally, or through a few simple strokes of the pencil.
